2. Ethics and Conduct in Security Services

The focus of this ethics training program by SC Training (formerly EdApp) will be on the expectations for behavior that define the functions, obligations, and tasks of security personnel. It starts by defining what a code of ethics is and its purpose in an organization. It also discusses why a code of ethics specifically for security officers exists, which is due to the nature of their work.

edX has partnered with Harvard to create this course that tackles bioethics and gives a comprehensive understanding of the ethical, medical, and legal issues related to human reproduction and genetics. For learners to see how it applies to the real world, there are interviews with individuals who have gone through surrogacy and sperm donation. Those have worked with doctors, bioethicists, and journalists through their journey who study the ownership and use of genetic information within human tissue.
