Course overview
This refresher training provides an overview of alcohol service regulations and responsibilities in Illinois, covering key topics such as state requirements, alcohol effects, serving practices, and housekeeping procedures. By the end of the course, participants will understand the role of alcohol servers, the impact of alcohol consumption, how to responsibly serve alcohol, prevent over-service, handle intoxicated patrons, and manage conflicts. Participants will also be familiar with the necessary housekeeping and closing procedures, including proper hygiene, required signage, and the legal hours of sale and consumption in Illinois.
