This refresher training is an overview of alcohol server responsibilities in New York by exploring topics such as state training requirements, the roles and restrictions of alcohol servers, the effects of alcohol on the body, guidelines for serving alcohol, maintaining cleanliness and order, and managing conflicts. By the end of the lesson, participants are expected to understand the legal and practical responsibilities of alcohol servers, including recognizing intoxication, safely serving alcohol, maintaining order in establishments, and effectively handling conflicts or complaints. Participants will also be able to recognize the knowledge and skills to promote a safe and responsible environment while adhering to state regulations. (Last Updated: September 2024)
