This refresher training is an overview of responsible alcohol service in South Australia, covering essential topics such as liquor laws, recognising intoxicated customers, and preventing underage alcohol sales. By the end of the course, participants will be familiar with South Australia's liquor laws, general code of practice guidelines, and their responsibilities as responsible persons. Participants will learn how to identify signs of intoxication, prevent over-serving, and refuse service to intoxicated patrons. Additionally, the training includes guidance on identifying and handling minors attempting to purchase alcohol, inspecting both hard copy and digital IDs, and recognising false IDs, all while maintaining compliance and avoiding discrimination.
