In our current volatile climate amidst the rise of the COVID-19 pandemic, understanding the virus and its intricacies is becoming increasingly difficult. With the influx of information, some useful and some false via news and social media channels alike, it’s difficult not to become overwhelmed or confused about where you should be getting your updates from.
“We, like you, are confronted with the veritable avalanche of information – everybody’s talking about it and who can you trust? So, we used reliable sources, mostly the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), to help people have reliable information in their hands. SC Training (formerly EdApp)’s agile platform enabled us to go from start to finish in just a few days – information changes fast, and the learning platform needs to keep up. That’s SC Training (formerly EdApp) for us.”-Carl Husa, Chief Innovation Officer
Improvement Sciences
As a response to these uncertain times, we are thrilled to welcome back the team at ImSci, who has previously contributed valuable courseware on HIPAA Certification. This time, courseware can be found in our editable Content Library to provide you with reliable information about the virus, delivering the information you and your team need including the background of Coronavirus, what it is, and how we can slow the spread.
The course has been contributed by Dr Michael Hunter and Carl Husa of Improvement Sciences, meaning that the content is populated with useful, reliable and practical information.
Following SC Training (formerly EdApp)’s concept of microlearning, the team at ImSci have created the COVID-19 courseware and broken it down into clear sections. Each segment focuses on one area of the virus, enabling the absorption of information in small increments, and resulting in a better understanding of Coronavirus.
Specifically, the following objectives can be accessed within the COVID-19 courseware:
